The Crown Inn (Catcott) annual Fancy Dress Charity Pram Race will take place again this year on August bank holdiay Sunday, starting at the King William at 4pm along by the surgery and down through the village to the Crown, push or pull anything you like (not motorised please) this year we are raising money for cancer research and sponsor forms are available from either pub, by post or e.mail, but please come along, take part, support or sponsor this very worthwhile cause.
The race will be followed by presentation of prizes for the first past the post - the best fancy dressed (to be judged by Lily and Gerry Wheeler) and the person raising the most money, there will be a free bar-b-que for all competitors.
Crosswired a great rock cover band from Yeovil will be playing during the evening and there will be an auction of promises at 8pm to include:
Two VIP tickets to Silverstone on 26th Sept for British Supabikes - donated by Steve Roby
A Hot Air Balloon Flight - donated by Brian Workman
A Chauffeur Driven Vintage Car Experience and afternoon tea - donated by Lily & Gerry Wheeler at Vintage Wheels.
